IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE 2021 HOMEMADE ICE CREAM CONTEST

The Homemade Ice Cream Contest will be judged on Saturday, June 19th at the Ortho 360 Orthodontics (14365 Hwy 29 #12, Liberty Hill). Winners will be announced at the festival on Friday, July 3rd.

The contest takes place Saturday, June 19th at Ortho 360, located at 14365 Hwy 29 #12. Contestants should drop off ice cream between 11am and 11:45am. The private judging will take place at 12:00 pm, and the top 3 winners will be announced at the Liberty Hill Independence Day Spectacular at 7:40pm from the Band Stage.

The 1st place winner will receive $100 cash!

  • Rules:

    1. Ice Cream must be delivered between 11am and 11:45am to Ortho 360 in Liberty Hill on June 19th.
    2. There must be enough ice cream for 5 judges to sample.
    3. Ice Cream must be delivered in a cooler cold enough to stay frozen for at least two hours. Any flavor may be submitted.
    4. Ice Cream must be accompanied by an index card with your name, phone number, email address, and recipe.
    5. Judging will be based on taste, texture, and eye appeal.
    6. Coolers and any remaining ice cream will be set outside Ortho 360 and must be picked back up between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Contestants may not re-enter the building due to judging.
    7. The top 3 winners will be announced from the Band Stage at the Independence Day Spectacular at 7:40pm on July 3rd.
