Matt Sloan created The Wild Susan Company in 2018 primarily to fill the need for consciously sourced, sustainably made soy candles that are affordable for everyone. After seeing the extravagant pricing attached to most soy candles, he recognized the opportunity and started working to fill that gap.

All Wild Susan candles are made using all-natural soy wax, natural cotton wicks, and phthalate-free (carcinogen-free) fragrance oils and dyes. Each candle is hand-poured and hand-labeled in Matt’s North Austin studio.
